Meet me at the museum
Meet me at the museum sessions are dementia-friendly drop-in sessions for older people to come along to the museum for a nostalgic look at items from the 1940s, 50s and 60s. The sessions are a way of using simple things to start conversations with people, sharing memories and enjoying each other’s company.
From vintage games, to film stars and television, and food and sweets from years gone by, you’ll find a variety of things that can spark memories.
You don’t need to book, the sessions are drop-in, so just pop in on your own, or bring a friend.
Meet me at the museum sessions are held four times every month, usually on Fridays but occasionally on Thursdays, 11am-1pm at the following museums and art galleries:
- Museum of Liverpool, Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront
- World Museum, William Brown Street, Liverpool
- Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight
- Sudley House, Mossley Hill
Find out when and where the next one will be on the Meet me at the museum listings page on the National Museums Liverpool website.
